Irvine Island is located is approximately 8.93 square kilometres in size and is located approximately 140km north of Derby and 5km west of Cockatoo Island.
CIM is the exclusive holder of a mining lease over Irvine Island, since its acquisition in late 2020.

Past Exploration
A Pre-Feasibility Study has previously been completed for the Hardstaff Peninsula and a Concept Study assessment was completed for the Isthmus Region. These studies show over 500MT of Indicated Mineral Resources are available in these two parts of the Irvine Island combined.
Studies completed during the Pre-Feasibility Study assessment for the Irvine Island Project demonstrate a technically feasible and commercially viable Iron Ore Project.
